Ying Yang Twins: The Ying Yang Twins are an Atlanta-based crunk rap duo consisting of Kaine (born Eric Jackson on December 16, 1978) and D-Roc (born D'Angelo Holmes on February 13, 1979). Despite their name, they are not related. The artists can frequently be heard yelling "hahn" on many of their tracks, and even have a complete song, "Hahn!," dedicated to their catchphrase.

They first came to notice in 2000 with the single, "Whistle While You Twurk," which got play on urban and pop radio stations, and peaked at #16 on the US R&B/Hip-Hop chart. Their full-length debut album, Thug Walkin', came out later that year. Their next album, Alley: The Return of the Ying Yang Twins (2002) sold quite well, but they didn't really achieve popularity until they collaborated with the "king of crunk" Lil Jon in 2002 for "Get Low." The party anthem was a huge club and radio hit and soon got the duo a deal with TVT Records.

The first album for the label, Me & My Brother, yielded two more hits — "What's Happnin!" and "Naggin'." The same year the duo appeared on Britney Spears' album In the Zone and her television special of the same name. In 2004, TVT released the remix-filled My Brother & Me with a bonus DVD of the group's videos. An album, U.S.A. (United State of Atlanta) appeared in the summer of 2005 as its singles "Wait (The Whisper Song)", "Badd," and "Shake" were dominating urban radio. U.S.A. (Still United), a collection of outtakes, remixes, and collaborations also appeared.

The Ying Yang Twins were also featured on Lil Jon's breakout single Get Low that helped catapult him to fame in 2003-2004.

Their anticipated fourth studio album entitled Chemically Imbalanced is slated to be released in November of 2006.

Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine covered "Badd" on their 2006 album "The Sunny Side of the Moon: The Best of Richard Cheese".

Soulja Boy: Not even 21-years-old, and Soulja Boy has already released three albums and produced several club-bangin' singles. His infectious beats are moving the rap game forward into the digital and ringtone worlds. Soulja Boy tour dates are the hottest party in hip-hop and are currently scheduled nationally. His first single "Crank That" started a dance craze and his tour is heatin' up clubs and venues. The Chicago native became interested in rap when he moved to Atlanta when he was a kid. After another move to Mississippi, Soulja Boy got his recording career in gear by self-promoting himself on Myspace and YouTube. In 2007, he released his first independent album, Unsigned & Still Major: Da Album Before the Album, which featured the hit single and dance "Crank That". The video for it was also shot independently and the dance became a nationwide craze. Soulja Boy released his major label debut, Souljaboytellem.com, in October, 2007 where it debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200. He was nominated for a Grammy Award for the single and Soulja Boy tour dates and concert performances were scheduled nationwide.

Bucking the one-hit wonder label, Soulja Boy returned in 2008 with iSouljaBoyTellem, which featured the double-Platinum smash and #3 hit single, "Kiss Me Thru the Phone". "Turn My Swag On" was subsequently released and sold over million copies, becoming his third to do so, and Soulja Boy began a trend in the music industry towards legal downloads. Soulja Boy tour dates were scheduled on the Americas Most Wanted Tour and he released his third album, The DeAndre Way. The album featured the hit "Pretty Boy Swag" and "Speakers Going Hammer". To promote the disc, Soulja Boy embarked on his solo Who They Want Tour.

More recently, Soulja Boy released two mixtapes, Smooky and Juice in 2011. In addition to his Grammy nomination, Soulja Boy has also been nominated for three BET Awards and four Teen Choice Awards, while winning one award at the BET Hip-Hop Awards for Best-Hip Hop Dance. Soulja Boy has also expanded his talents into the film world and has appeared in Malice in Wonderland and will appear in a remake of Juice, this 2011. Soulja Boy tour dates will have to suffice while we wait in anticipation for his upcoming fourth album. Soulja Boy tour dates on the 2011 Who They Want Tour are still available. Chingy: In 2003, Chingy cashed in with his now classic, triple-platinum album Jackpot. He struck certified platinum again in 04 with PowerBallin, which proved to the world that Chingy was no one-hit wonder. Now its 2006. And Ching-a-Ling is back with his third and most exciting album, Hoodstar. This time, its personal.

"I'm from the ghetto and I wanted to show my appreciation for where I come from," he says. "Even if youve had success, you dont ever forget where you come from."

Hoodstar is one album you wont soon forget, either. Part auto-biographical, part club-bangin, it chronicles the life of a star from the hoodthe highs, the lows, and all the girls, cars, clothes, and everything in between. The record is also a great big shout out to Chingys hometown, Walnut Park in North Side St. Louis.

To make musical magic, Chingy assembled an all-hoodstar team of producers, including Jermaine Dupri, Poli Paul, Timbaland, The Trak Starz, Mannie Fresh, Mr. Collipark and Kwame. Guest artists include Three 6 Mafia, Tyrese, Young Spiffy and Fatman Scoop.
